Provost receives EDUDIA award of excellence
In another great occasion on Tuesday July 28, the Provost of Adeyemi College of Education, Dr. Akinrinola Akintunde, has added another feather to his cap by receiving another remarkable award of excellence for his contribution to educational development in Nigeria. This award was given by the prestigious Educational Dialogue Association (EDUDIA) at an international conference on educational management on peace and sustainable development in Africa held at NIEPA (National Institute for Educational Planning and Administration) Ondo.
The award was received by Dr. Kehinde Adenegan, the Acting Director, MIS on behalf of the College Provost. At the auspicious occasion, the President of EDUDIA, Prof. Martins Fabunmi, remarked that the awardees have distinguished themselves in the educational sector and deserve the prestigious awards which are not bought with money unlike many awards flying over everywhere now where awardees will be tasked to pay money for what they are considered worthy to receive.
Other awardees at the occasion include Prof. Lilian Salami, DG/CE NIEPA, Prof. Oluchukwu (Wesley University), Prof. Nathaniel, VC Wesley University, Prof. Mrs. Mercy Adewale (AAUA), and Dr. Mrs. Akinsolu Adetoun (NIEPA). Meanwhile, in the keynote address delivered by Prof. Lilian Salami, he bemoaned the unguided approach being taken by parents in recent times to make their children and wards to jump classes without following the structured formative age for classes making the educational sector to produce immature graduates.
