COVID19 Lockdown - ACE Coop holds eAGM
As the COVID19 lockdown persists with millions of Nigerians observing the social distancing order with other precautionary measures as directed by the Federal Government, a cooperative multipurpose society in the foremost College of Education in Nigeria, Adeyemi College of Education has recently held its annual general meeting electronically.
In what was described by the cooperators as well organized and planned e-AGM held simultaneously via telegram and WhatsApp with over 600 members attendance.
The President of the society, Mr. Samuel Omobolade appreciated the cooperation of the members and the entire executives for making the event worthwhile and for the full support received for the just concluded accounting year.
In his own goodwill message, the Provost of the College, Dr. Samuel Akintunde extolled the virtues of the Omobolade-led executive for the maturity displayed in engaging the management on all members financial deductions and the leadership role played to ensure prompt service delivery to members.
While addressing the cooperators, the treasurer of the society, Mr. Sunday Adebayo assured members of prompt and timely dividend alert as members have sown in the dry times and as such are entitled to enjoy their dividends especially in this period of pandemic where people must stay safe to stay strong and alive.
In her vote of thanks, the Vice President of the society, Mrs. A.O. Olajuyigbe, appreciated members for their active participation and commitment to the growth of the cooperative.
Other members of the society executive were also commended for their remarkable efforts in the society novel achievements, among whom are, Dr. Mrs. Yetunde Akorede (ex-officio), Mr. Mike Fapohunda (secretary), Dr. I.O. Johnson, Mr. J. O. Abimbola (Asst. Secretary), Dr. Kehinde Adenegan, and Mr. S. Omosowone.
