The counselling and Human Development Centre is established to provide support services such as various counselling services, workshops, seminars, skills training and other development programmes to the members of the college community. These services offer opportunities for staff and students to develop themselves and deal with their challenges. The centre is also established to enhance effectiveness and competence among staff and students; and also to promote peace and stability in the college community.
The centre is headed by Dr (Mrs) C.B Obasoro a senior lecturer at the department of Educational Foundations and Counselling.
She holds a B.Ed and M.Ed in Guidance and Counselling and a Ph.D in Counselling Psychology.
She is a member of the Counselling Association of Nigeria (CASSON) and Nigerian Society for Educational Psychologists (NISEP).

The centre is open to all members of staff and students in the college; counselling hours is 9:00am – 3:00pm on Mondays to Fridays.
