NCC Donates Internet Connectivity Equipment to Adeyemi College of Education

Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo has received a donation of wireless cloud internet connectivity equipment from the Nigeria Communication Commission (NCC) on Thursday 8th November, 2018.

 This was in fulfillment of a promise to donate more equipment to boost internet service delivery in the College, which was made during an earlier assessment visit to the College by NCC through a representative of ICT connect, Engr. Michael.

During the delivery, the leader of the team, Mr. David Onyeali, said that “ICT connect, the company designated with the supply and installation of the equipment, will send an engineer to the College, before the year runs to an end, to install the equipment to complement the existing internet connectivity in the College.”

 This, he said, would be done after he had submitted the acknowledgement copy of the delivery note/waybill.

 Among the equipment delivered were: two 5.5 KVA generators, six power injectors, six WiFi BTS, six APC surge protectors, two servers, six D-link access points, one 4gb wireless controller, eight D-link omni directional antennas, three D-link bond media bridge, four 5Ghz outdoor directional panel antennas, twenty-four 2.4Ghz 14dbi directional antennas, and one Cat6 PVC solid cable.

Other items include router, network racks, external AP antenna, Vsat antenna, X1 series Modem, 5watt C-band, network integrated UPS, PLL c-band, 28-port managed Ethernet gigabit switch and Bgs-1510 series 28port switches. All equipment were received in good condition.

 Present to receive the delivery were; Director Physical Planning and Works Services, Mr. Francis Ajayi; representative of the Deputy Director, Internal Audit Directorate, Mr. Oladosu Abimbola; and Acting Director, Management Information System, Dr. Kehinde Adenegan.
