NCC donates ICT Equipment to Adeyemi College

In fulfillment to its promise to boost internet service in the College, Nigeria Communications Commission (NCC) has donated one hundred and ten (110) laptops and additional internet connectivity equipment to the College.

The College took delivery of the laptops and other items on 20th and 28th December, 2018.

It will be recalled that in 2018, NCC, represented by ICT Connect, assessed the state of internet connectivity in the College.


After the assessment, NCC regulatory body promised to donate more equipment to boost internet service in the College.

The promise was fulfilled with the delivery of a consignment of wireless cloud internet connectivity items to the College on November 8th, 2018.


The drive to enhance communication and boost internet service delivery in Nigeria saw the delivery of  laptops and additional internet connectivity equipment (BRANDED HP NOTEBOOK 15 INTEL CELERON N 3060 46B RAM 500GB HDD with already  installed bit locker anti- theft and anti- virus software license and  integrated e-learning suite) to the College.

These deliveries were part of a project by the NCC titled “NCC Wireless Cloud 2017 Project” and this consignment was duly delivered and acknowledged along with waybills titled “NCC Wireless Cloud 2017 Project” and “WAYBILL WB/MGL: 0000290”. ICT Connect has since commenced the wireless cloud connectivity installation in the College which will definitely be an additional advantage to compliment College existing internet facility.


Some of the equipment donated were: two CAT 6 UTP23 AWG PVC solid cable, one RJ 45 Connector, one Thunder Arrestor, twenty Wall Trunks16mm by 25mm, thirty 2.5 mm Electrical Cable for UPS Installation flexible black (30m per site), three 13 amps plug, one hundred and ten Branded HP Notebook 15-RA007 NIA, and one hundred and ten Branded Black Executive Laptop bags, among others.

These items, according to the Acting Director, MIS, Dr. Kehinde Adenegan, were received in good working condition. 


Also present were; a representative of the Deputy Director, Internal Audit, Store; and members of staff, Management Information System.
