BRIEF HISTORY ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The Department was established in 1992 to run both the Pre-NCE and NCE Programmes. It became a full-fledged Department on 1st January 1998 during the 1997/1998 academic session.
Now, the Department has the following combinations, namely Mathematics/Physics and Computer Science/Physics, Integrated Science/Physics, PES/Physics. The Department now runs the PRE-NCE, NCE and degree Programmes.
The Department now has fourteen academic staff (including two associate lecturers), two youth corps members and two administrative staff. Dr. R. T. Akinnubi is the present HOD while the present Dean of the School of Science, Dr. Matthew Olagoke Ojo (See Profile)is from the same Department.
